The postcard says the following on the back: This historic inn, built in 1832 at Clinton, Michigan, was once a stagecoach stop along the famous Chicago Road. Its classic pillars became a landmark in Southern Michigan. Today, moved to Greenfield Village, the Clinton Inn still serves visitors each summer who wish to relax or dine during their tour of this famous American village.
